ISIM Timisoara is an R&D institute founded in 1970, which is a member of the International Institute of Welding (IIW). ISIM owns an infrastructure of laboratories for mechanical testing, macroscopic and microscopic structural analyses and NDT: XRay, ultrasound, magnetic particle, dyes penetrant, etc., accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025. ISIM has a direct link with the industry, offering different services to industrial companies across the country and abroad: certification of company, certification of welding procedures, certification of welders and NDT personnel, mechanical testing and NDT, failure analysis, inspection of materials and products, remaining life assessment of components and industrial risk assessment. ISIM's aim is to study, improve and develop the welding and allied processes (brazing, soldering, thermal cutting, thermal spraying) as well as the material testing, destructive and non-destructive.

SAM Robotics is an industrial service provider, an integrator of robotized systems, which is interested in making use of the developed software in its relations to the existing market and expand its services for other areas.

Izertis S.L. is an SME founded in 1987 specialised on consulting and IT services. Izertis is a high added value technology consultant leading market both in Spain and Latin America, currently seeking expansion to Europe. Other key values of Izertis are the strategical alliances with big IT players as Microsoft, Dell, VMWare, Cisco, Oracle, Intel or HP. Izertis focuses its activity on providing high added value services and solutions in the ICT sector that meet current company needs. For this project staff from Integration and Development, Innovation and Big Data departments are involved. Technologies deployed are numerous, e.g. J2EE, Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, JSF, JPA, EJB3.O, etc. Regarding Big Data, Izertis has specialised staff for the development and application of intelligent data analysis over multiple problems, like modelling, prediction, clustering, and optimisation, between others. The Innovation department has wide expertise in the management of international collaborative technological projects as well as in the proposal of novel products and services.

ITMA Materials Technology is a Spanish private and non-profit technological centre which aims at promoting companies’ innovation through applied research and technological development in the field of materials science and technology. ITMA works across all industry sectors and codes to select or develop the right joining techniques and materials and providing expert technical input with supporting knowledge, practical trials and prototyping. The main welding facilities include robotic and manual FCAW, GTAW, GMAW and Spot Resistance welding units.
